At the end of the day, the decision to be Healthy & Fit lies with you.
Many years ago when death knocked at my door, my sister was the most supportive person that I could turn to. At first, I dabbled in and out of attempts to change my lifestyle to a healthier one. Inconsistencies led to yo-yo dieting, inconsistent exercise routine, uncontrolled stress levels, and an overall undisciplined lifestyle. As I became sicker and sicker, it dawned on me that my health is totally my responsibility. Yes, mine to do whatever I wish to do with it. Too often we bump into friends, family, coworkers, and neighbors who express the desire to lose weight, get rid of illnesses. To sleep better, have more energy. They are however reliant on others…oftentimes their Healthcare providers to make the changes for them. Healthy living is pretty simple. The first step to take in order to achieve the desired Heath & Wellness is to decide that we will do whatever it takes to accomplish our goals. Once this decision is made, we have jumped over our biggest hurdle. Marva Riley, Registered Nurse. Author. Health Advocate. Educator https://rnmarvariley.com
