Jerk chickpeas Recipe
Ingredients:
- Cooked and drained chickpeas
- 1/2 onion chopped
- 8 cloves fresh garlic (whole)
- 1 ripe tomato chopped
- Okra cut in small rings
- 1/2 teaspoon fennel seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon caraway seeds
- Pinch crushed red pepper
- Pinch salt to taste
- Olive oil
- 1 teaspoon spicy Jamaican Jerk sauce
Heat oil on medium
Stir in everything
Lower heat to low
Stir well
Sautéed for 5 minutes
Enjoy with grains or roots or by itself
